Hi, I’m Rachel.

I’m a watercolor and soft pastel artist living in West Virginia. As a mother, wife, athlete, and artist, I love to paint the beauty I see in people, places, and moments that make up everyday life.

As such, my favorite subjects include family, childhood, nature, animals, and meaningful memories. Painting is a way I express love and connection to people and places most significant to me.

Prior to pursuing art more seriously, I practiced law for several years. Currently, I get to teach art at my daughters’ elementary school, and I have continued my art education through coursework at Savannah College of Art and Design and mentorship with world-renowned fine artist Thomas W. Schaller.
